We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were super friendly and caring. The location was perfect, just a few meters from the beach and on top of the best snorkeling spot. The hotel facilities were great, with a spa directly across the road that offered convenient treatments. The breakfast was delicious, with options including homemade bread. The staff went above and beyond to help us with excursions and other arrangements.

The value for money at this place is great, and the room was really spacious and beautiful. The location, right on the beach, was perfect and the staff treated us like family.

The location is absolutely perfect, right in front of the beach with stunning views. the snorkeling spot is one of the best, and the sunset view point is right next to the hotel. the staff, including the owner, is incredibly friendly and made me feel safe and welcome. the breakfast and fresh juices are delicious, and everything is clean and well-maintained.

Room was very dated. Plastic straws given with drinks despite selling bamboo straws.

I recently stayed at a fantastic hotel in Amed for a few days. The location was perfect, right on the best snorkeling bay and next to the best sunset view point. The Family Room I had was clean, spacious, and had loft beds for the kids. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. I will definitely stay here again.

The staff at Blue Star Bungalows & Cafe were incredibly polite and friendly. The location of the hotel was perfect, right on the beach with a beautiful view. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could rent mask and fins for snorkeling. Every day, a lovely tea set was delivered to my room. The room itself was spacious and clean, providing a comfortable stay.

There were a few minor inconveniences during my stay. The water in the shower was not hot and the stream was thin, making it difficult to wash my hair.

We absolutely loved our stay at Blue Star. The bungalows were right on the beach, perfect for snorkeling and enjoying the water. The family room was comfortable and clean, with cozy beds and working air-conditioning. The daily delivery of hot water, tea, and coffee to our balcony was a delightful surprise. The sunbeds on the beach were great, and we could rent snorkeling equipment easily. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the Indonesian food served in the restaurant was delicious.

Open two-story room, fantastic staff, warm water and coffee/tea brought to the balcony every morning, great breakfast - lovely pancakes and fresh fruit, amazing snorkeling from the bay, friendly and helpful staff.
